अपने राम के अंदर के रावण को कैसे जलाओगे?
आज फिर राम के नाम पर रावण जलाओगे,
सच झूठ का तर्क देकर हत्या को वध बताओगे,
हनुमान, लक्ष्मण, विभिषण बन तमाशा देखते जाओगे,
तालियां बजाकर, राम का आह्वाहन कर घर चले जाओगे,
राम के गुणों की तारीफ करते जाओगे,
खुदके अंदर के रावण को दुनिया से छुपाओगे,
10 चेहरे लगाकर, फरेबी बनकर सबको ठगते जाओगे,
और फिर ज्ञानी होने का ताज भी अपने सर पहन जाओगे,
10 चेहरों में एक चेहरा राम का भी होगा,
दुनिया को दिखाने के लिए ये आम सा ही होगा,
वेश भूषा, पहनावा सब संत सा ही होगा,
चार दिवारी के अंदर ये चेहरा हरिश्चंद्र सा ही होगा,
बाहर अपनी ताकत का रौब दिखाओगे,
पर अंदर ही अंदर सहमे से घुटते जाओगे,
सुनी अनसुनी बातों पर विश्वास करते जाओगे,
दूसरो की क्या कहे, तुम अपनो से ही अग्नी परीक्षा लेते जाओगे,
चाहे रावण बन कितने ही चेहरे लगा लोगे,
अपने जनाज़े में एक के भरोसे ही जा पाओगे,
आज फिर तुम राम का आह्वाहन कर घर चले जाओगे,
पर अपने चेहरे के पीछे छुपे शैतान को कैसे जलाओगे,
क्युकी हर बार की तरह, इस बार भी तुम चेहरा तो बदल लोगे,
पर ये जो मैली आत्मा है, इसको कैसे छुपाओगे।
